What I like best about Nathen Aswell’s brilliant new CD “YES” is the way the songs go on “auto-play” inside my head. They crank themselves up at odd hours of the day and night, causing me to spontaneously sing the choruses of “Jump Right In”, “The Making of a Soul” and “I Say Yes.” There’s only one answer when a collection of songs is this well-crafted and this well-performed: “I say YES!”
